Keep up to date with The Walking Dead on the new AMC App

Let's face it. We all have lives outside of watching our favorite shows when they come on each week. For most of us, DVR is a good solution to catching our favorite shows, even when we aren't around to watch them. However, with the AMC app, you can watch all of your favorite AMC shows without needing to buy DVR service from your cable or satellite provider. Additionally, it's completely free. Although some shows may require you to login via your cable provider. Most extras and premieres are available without the need to login.

AMC's lineup includes Fear the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead, HUMANS, Better Call Saul, Hell on Wheels, Halt and Catch Fire, TURN: Washington's Spies, The Making of the Mob: New York, Comic Book Men and Talking Dead. All of these are available through their app for watching whenever you wish to do so. AMC's app also supports tablets, so you can sit back and watch the latest episode of Better Call Saul on your tablet, and take advantage of that larger screen on the tablet, when compared to your smartphone.

Now not every episode is available on the AMC app, but about the last 5 episodes are. Which allows you to catch up, even if you haven't watched your favorite show for a few weeks. There are also plenty of extras which include behind-the-scenes and more. To give you even more information on these shows that AMC offers. The app also keeps track of where you stopped watching an episode (of course, this only works on episodes you watched from within the app, and not from your TV), so you can easily start back where you left off, without having to watch the entire episode all over again.

The app is compatible with Android 4.2 and above, which means just about every Android smartphone is compatible, or at least the majority of it is. AMC does need to redesign the app a bit, as it's still stuck in the HOLO days. The AMC app is available on the Google Play Store right now, and is completely free, and there are no in-app purchases either.
