Sprint has a ton of smartphones available in their store. But which ones are the ones you should buy as a gift? That’s the million dollar question. We’ve put together this gift guide to bring you the top 10 best smartphones available on Sprint right now. So without further ado, let’s have a look.
HTC One A9
The HTC One A9 is the newest addition to the Sprint lineup. It has a 5-inch display that has a 1920×1080 resolution as well as being powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor (which means it supports Quick Charge 3.0), and it also has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage not to mention a microSD card slot for expanding that storage. It’s also the first device outside of the Nexus line to come with Marshmallow.
HTC One M9
The One M9 was HTC’s flagship for the beginning part of the year. The One M9 has the front-facing Boomsound speakers which everyone loves. Not to mention the 5-inch 1080p display, and the Snapdragon 810 powering the device. HTC also added in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage this year as well as a microSD card slot. The HTC One M9 is also an all aluminum unibody design. So it looks amazing.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+
The Galaxy S6 Edge+ is the company’s second iteration at the dual curved display. This time it’s a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED panel on the Galaxy S6 Edge+. It has the Exynos 7420 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage inside. There is no microSD card slot this year for Samsung’s flagships. We also have a 3000mAh battery powering the Galaxy S6 Edge+, which looks amazing in Gold.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5
Launched at the same time as the Galaxy S6 Edge+, the Note 5 shares a lot of specs. Including the 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, Exynos 7420 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 3000mAh battery. The Galaxy Note 5 also features the iconic S Pen, which now has a clicking mechanism. So you can click the end and pop the S Pen out of its silo. Pretty sweet.
Motorola Moto X Pure Edition
This year, Motorola made one phone that works for all four carriers, and is selling it unlocked. The Moto X Pure Edition does work on Sprint, and has a 5.7-inch 2560×1440 resolution LCD display, with the Snapdragon 808 inside and 3GB of RAM. It also has the option for 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot. Motorola has continued bringing leather and wood to phones with the Moto X this year.
Google Nexus 6P
The Nexus 6P, this year, is like the Moto X Pure Edition. It works with all four US carriers, but is not sold by any of them. The Nexus 6P is built by Huawei, and has a 5.7-inch QHD display, also the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor inside with 3GB of RAM and the choice of 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of storage. Not to mention the 3450mAh battery inside which should definitely keep you going all day long.
Google Nexus 5X
Google partnered with LG again this year for the Nexus 5X. And together they turned out a phone that has a 5.2-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of internal storage and a 2700mAh battery inside. Not a bad phone at all, and the mint color is a really nice one to check out. It also comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
One of our favorite phones from this year, the LG G4 is a great smartphone with a 5.5-inch 2560×1440 resolution display. Additionally it sports a Snapdragon 808 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It also has a microSD card slot and a removable 3000mAh battery inside. LG has really been touting the 16MP camera on the back which has an insane f/1.8 aperture.
Samsung Galaxy S6
Ah, the iconic Galaxy S from Samsung. This year the Galaxy S6 saw a huge design change. Ditching the plastic and going to metal and glass. They also ditched the microSD card slot and removable battery. But kept the high-end specs. Including a 5.1-inch 2560×1440 resolution Super AMOLED display, Exynos 7420 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 16MP camera around back.
LG G Stylo
The LG G Stylo is a bit of a lower-end smartphone here from LG. And it has a 5.7-inch 1280×720 resolution IPS display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, however it does have a microSD card slot. It also has a stylus, as you can likely tell by the name. And a 3000mAh battery powering the smartphone.
