Over the past year, we’ve seen more and more smartphones with more and more power coming out with an even lower price tags. There are plenty of smartphones available for under $300 right now, and that is without signing a contract with your carrier. We’ve gathered ten great smartphones that are priced under $300, so let’s check them out.
Sony Xperia M4 Aqua
The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua is a pretty decent offering here from Sony. The Xperia M4 Aqua is priced under $300 and is a GSM device. Which means it will work on AT&T and T-Mobile. As you could probably tell by the name it is also water-resistant. It’s rated at IP65/68, so it can withstand being submerged in water for up to 30 minutes. Sony has also packed in a 2400mAh battery to power the 5-inch 72op display, along with the Snapdragon 615 processor, 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM.
BLU Vivo Air
The BLU Vivo Air is another great smartphone that is priced under $300. It’s a really thin smartphone from BLU, with a 4.8-inch 720p display, powered by a MediaTek octa-core processor, with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. However it does not support 4G LTE networks, unfortunately. You do get 3G and 4G HSPA+ however. This is a GSM unlocked device, so it will work on both AT&T and T-Mobile here in the States. Available in both black, and white (with a gold frame).
BLU Energy X Plus
This is another great offering from BLU. But instead of being super thin. This one is a bit thicker, but has a huge battery inside. It’s packing a 4000mAh battery inside which powers the 5.5-inch HD display, a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It also has a 5.5-inch display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of RAM along with a microSD card slot. HTC has a 13MP camera around back with a 8MP front-facing camera for taking selfies here on the Desire 820U. This is a 4G LTE smartphone, unlike a few of the others on this list. And it is a GSM unlocked device, so it will work on both AT&T and T-Mobile.
LG Leon LTE
LG can’t be forgotten when it comes to smartphones under $300. The LG Leon is available on a few prepaid carriers here in the States, but you can also pick it up unlocked and switch carriers if you’d like. So for a slightly higher price you can get 4G LTE with the Vivo Air. We still have a 4.8-inch HD display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, but the processor has been changed. This time around we’re looking at a Snapdragon 410 processor. It is a GSM device, so again it will work on both AT&T and T-Mobile’s networks.
