Galaxy Golden 3 Flip Phone Gets Certified By TENAA

Samsung is one of the best-known smartphone manufacturers in the world, and also the number 1 smartphone OEM in the world as far as market share goes. That being said, Samsung tends to release quite a few devices on a yearly basis, and some of those devices end up being rather odd. The company has released a number of 'test' devices over the years, most of which have failed, but some of them have been an enormous success for the company, like the Galaxy Note line for example. Well, it seems like Samsung is planning to release yet another smart flip phone soon, which isn't exactly a new concept or anything of the sort, but phones like these are very hard to find outside of Asia, where they seem to be popular to this date.

The Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 has popped up on TENAA recently and revealed its specifications. It is worth mentioning that this very same phone has been listed on GFXBench last month as well, so we kind of knew what we were getting ourselves into already, even though the two listings are somewhat different. Anyhow, according to TENAA, the Galaxy Golden 3 will sport two 3.9-inch displays (internal and external) with a resolution of 768 x 1280. Interesting enough, the GFXBench listing reported that the 4.6-inch display will be used here, so... one of the two is not accurate. Anyhow, the Galaxy Golden 3 will pack in 3GB of RAM and 64GB of non-expandable internal storage. The device will be fueled by an octa-core SoC clocked at 2.1GHz, and a 16-megapixel shooter will be located on the back of this phone. The 5-megapixel shooter will be available up front, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop will come pre-installed here. The Galaxy Golden 3 will be 15.1mm thick, which was to be expected considering this is a flip phone. It is also worth mentioning that the phone will weight 204, so it isn't exactly the lightest phone around, not by any stretch of the imagination.

TENAA's listing didn't include any images of this device, unfortunately, so we can't share those, but if you take a look at the image above this article you'll see a leaked image of this device which surfaced two months ago. Either way, stay tuned, Samsung will release this phone soon.
