Dell's Chromebook option is a surprisingly good one. In fact, spec-wise it is one of the most powerful on this list, although you do have to compromise with a smaller screen, which measures 11.6-inches in size and makes use of a 1366 x 768 resolution.. That said, the Chromebook 11 does comes with 4GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and is powered by an Intel Core i3 4005U processor. Great option for those looking for a compact and powerful machine.

2. Chromebook Pixel LS

The Pixel LS is Google's brainchild Chromebook and will always be on the list as it does come with some unrivalled specs. However, it also comes with some unrivalled prices too with the very cheapest model coming in at the $999 marker. In terms of the specs, there are two models to choose from. The first boasts 8GB RAM, 32GB storage and an Intel i5 processor, while the other comes with 16GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and an Intel i7 processor.

Maintaining the top spot once again is the Chromebook 15 from Acer. Not only is this the largest Chromebook available, but it is also one of the most customizable with a number of different combinations on offer. Combinations on offer include 2GB RAM/16GB storage, 4GB RAM/16GB storage and 4GB RAM/32GB storage. As such, you really do have a choice with this model.
