Exynos 7580-Powered Galaxy A7 Pops Up On AnTuTu

Samsung has already released a couple of devices as part of the company’s ‘Galaxy A’ mid-range line. The company started rolling out these devices last year, and the Galaxy A3, A5, A7 and A8 are already available out in the market. The Galaxy A9 is right around the corner, and the second-gen Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 handsets have been surfacing all over the internet for a while now. The Galaxy A3 and A5 have popped up at Zauba and GFXBench, while the Galaxy A7 was also listed on GFXBench and Bluetooth SIG thus far.

That being said, another Galaxy A7 listing has popped up, this time around the phone has surfaced in AnTuTu, and the listing is almost identical, the only thing different this time around is the phone’s SoC. According to AnTuTu’s listing, the Galaxy A7 will ship with the Exynos 7580 processor along with a Mali-T720 GPU, not the Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core SoC which was listed by the GFXBench recently. This is very interesting and could suggest Samsung might release two variants of this device, though who knows.

As far as the rest of the specs are concerned, the 2nd-gen Galaxy A7 will sport a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The 13-megapixel snapper will be located on the back of this device, and a 5-megapixel shooter will be available up front. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop will come pre-installed on the Galaxy A7 and Samsung’s TouchWiz UI will be available on top of Google’s OS. The A710F, A710S and A710k variants of the device were listed on AnTuTu, in case you were wondering.

The Galaxy A7 (SM-A710F) was able to score 37,563 on AnTuTu with the Exynos 7580 SoC. That is pretty much it, the Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 announcements are just around the corner. At least two out of these three phones are expected to be announced before the end of the year, though chances are Samsung will roll out all of them soon. Either way, stay tuned for more info, we’ll report back as soon as new info pops up.
