Black Friday is upon us, and as is so often the case the majority of the best deals this weekend will be on electronics and for us it means lots of smartphones, tablets and accessories. A lot of you will probably have a smartphone from 2015 already, but buying a smartphone for your teenage sons or daughters, or perhaps a back-up phone for yourself can be difficult. You don't want to spend a huge amount, but you don't want to end up with a device that's left behind on older versions of Android; enter the Moto G.
This deal for the second-generation of the Moto G, which is from last year, but don't let that put you off. It's been updated to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and it runs stock Android, giving users a simple and easy-to-use blank canvas to work with. With a 5.0-inch 720p HD display and a fairly decent camera there's a lot going for the Moto G and right now it's just $99.99 on Amazon. That's a hundred dollars for a device that performs as well as devices that cost three times as much and runs the same software as the Galaxy S6 from earlier this year. As of writing, it appears that Amazon have this offer on both the Global GSM and US GSM models in both Black and White. The US GSM should work just fine on AT&T and T-Mobile.
