Chromebooks are a pretty popular item these days. Mostly because they are somewhat cheap, and run just a web browser, and for many of us that’s enough to get some work done. The ASUS Chromebook Flip is one of the more popular Chromebooks to be released this year, under $300. It’s also the only convertible 2-in-1 Chromebook available. It features a 10.1-inch 1280×800 resolution Touchscreen, however, it cannot be removed from the keyboard base, but it can be flipped (hence the name) and stood up like a tablet. It’s powered by a 1.8GHz Rockchip processor along with 16GB of SSD storage. We also have the option of either 2GB of RAM or 4GB of RAM. We would highly recommend the 4GB of RAM model, as it’ll be much faster, and more future proof as well.
Chromebooks are a bit interesting because they don’t run a full OS. Essentially, you are getting a laptop that has just a Chrome browser installed, and that’s about it. It’s great for web browsing as well as emailing and such. You can pick up the ASUS Chromebook Flip today for $219 for the 2GB model or $249 for the 4GB model. Links are below for you.
