Calculator Is A Sleek-Looking App With Themes Built-In

There are a number of applications that various OEMs pre-install on smartphones you purchase, an SMS app, dialer app, camera, calculator… and so on. Many consumers tend to use the apps they get with the device, while others take advantage of the Google Play Store and tons of applications available on there. Pre-installed apps are usually quite good, but in most cases you can add an extra level of usability by downloading a third-party offering. The same scenario applies if you'd simply like a differently designed app or something like that.

That being said, we're here to talk about an app that pretty much everyone has on their smartphone, calculator. Built-in calculators can sometimes lack options or simply don't look all that great, well, the 'Calculator' app by TricolorCat check both of those fields. Keep in mind that this is a regular calculator filled with various options, but it's not exactly a scientific calculator, think of this as a regular calculator which offers a number of design and general functionality options.

This calculator looks very sleek, a material design-like layout is very welcomed, and the buttons on there quite big and easy to press. You have 3 options as far as keypad layouts are concerned, Standard, Stylish and Ergonomic. You can check out all of these layouts in the gallery down below, along with 12 different themes you can choose from (indigo, red, amber, green, brown, pink, black, white, blue, green, red and yellow). Chances are you're going to like at least one of these colors, and it's always good to have options.

The app offers calculation history and calculated expression displays, while percentage calculation is also available. You can use it in both portrait and landscape mode, while there are a number of additional small options built in there. This calculator app will suit most of people's needs as far as functions go (if you need more, there are other apps available out there), and it looks really sleek. Keep in mind that the app is free, but you'll have to deal with ads, if you want, you can purchase the ad-free version for $0.75.
