ZTE has announced a range of interesting devices earlier this year. The company has first released their Nubia Z9 flagship line of devices, and later on the introduced their Axon devices. This China-based smartphone OEM has introduced a couple of Axon smartphones, and the Axon Watch which was introduced in China back in July. "Devices in our ZTE AXON product lines are designed entirely with consumers in mind and to be the nerve center of everything they do. Our high-end flagship strategy is now in full swing and we believe we have all of the ingredients to become a leading consumer electronics brand globally," said Adam Zeng, CEO of ZTE Mobile Devices. ZTE has announced that the Axon Mini handset (including the pressure-sensitive touch and NBA versions) will be available in Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Russia, Japan, India, Australia, France, Germany, Turkey, Spain and Italy in the coming months. They've also said that the device will be available for purchase in China online from ZTE's MyZTE store, and the Jingdong Mall (JD.com). The Axon Mini will be available in Ion Gold, Chromium Silver and Rose Gold color options.
As far as Axon Mini's pricing goes, it will depend on the region, of course. Axon Mini (Premium Edition) will cost 2,699 Yuan in China, will be priced at $439 in Asia-Pacific region and you'll be able to get it for 389 EUR in Europe. The 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display is also a part of this picuture, and an 8-megapixel camera can be found up front.
The company has also announced a new Axon device, the Axon Max. Interesting enough, the company did not share almost any Axon Max details with us, all they said is: "ZTE also unveiled the AXON MAX – a larger-screen smartphone device with a bigger battery". We'll share more Axon Max details as soon as we manage to get some. We might not have official Axon Max details, but according to a third-party report, the device will sport a 6-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, 4GB of RAM and will be powered by the Snapdragon 810 SoC.
