Gionee Teases Elife S6 Launch For Next Month
This China-based company has released a number of teasers lately, and they do hint that the Elife S6 handset will arrive next month, November 16th that is. According to TENAA, the device will sport a 5-inch HD AMOLED display, 2GB of RAM and will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The 13-megapixel camera will be available on the back as well.
Meizu Rolling Out Flyme 5.0 For Meizu MX5
Meizu has announced their MX5 handset back in June, and Flyme 5.0 arrived in September. The MX5 shipped with Flyme 4.5 out of the box, and Meizu has announced that they’ve started rolling out the update to version 5.0 now. So, if you own a Meizu MX5, you’ll get the update really soon, if you haven’t already.
Nexus 6P Now Available In Australia Direct From Google
Huawei has manufactured Google’s flagship this year, the Nexus 6P. This phablet already received a number of positive reviews all over the internet, and is available in certain regions. Well, Australia has just joined the pack considering Google has started selling this phablet over there as well. The phone is available via the Play Store for $899 (32GB model), while the 64GB costs $999.
Infocus Announces Yet Another Affordable Entry-Level Handset
Infocus has announced the M260 smartphone, another entry-level offering by the company. This smartphone features a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 IPS display, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage. The device is powered by MediaTek’s quad-core SoC running at 1.3GHz, while there’s a 2,000mAh battery on the inside. The 5-megapixel shooter is available on the back of this phone, and Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with Inlife UI 2.0. The phone costs Rs. 3,999 ($62), and will be available soon.
Oppo Neo 7 Is Now Official, Costs Rs. 9,990 ($153)
The Oppo Neo 7 features a 5-inch 960 x 540 IPS display, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core SoC, and a 2,420mAh battery is also available on the inside. The 8-megapixel snapper can be found on the back of this phone, and 4G LTE connectivity is also available here. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with ColorOS 2.1 available on top of it.
The Xperia Z5 Is Now Available For Purchase In Japan
Sony’s newest flagship, the Xperia Z5 (not counting Premium, of course), is now available for purchase in Japan via NTT DoCoMo, au and SoftBank. The device is priced at 93,312 ($773), 84,240 ($698) and 88,320 yen ($732), respectively. This handset sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3GB of RAM and is powered by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core SoC.
