Letv's Upcoming Handset Leaks Yet Again Prior To Release

Letv has managed to become a frequent visitor of tech media guidelines ever since the company introduced their 'Le Superphone' devices back in April. Letv is a well-known company in China, but not for their mobile devices. The three 'Le Superphone' devices that the company introduced earlier this year were actually their first smartphones. Well, those three phones seem to be selling pretty well, and will be available in the US soon. That being said, Letv has been teasing their October 27th press conference for a while now, and we've seen a couple of leaked phones thus far, and a new leak just surfaced, read on.

Letv seems to be getting ready to release more than 1 smartphone at tomorrow's press conference, and judging by the leaks we've seen recently, they might even announce the second-gen Le Superphone devices. The Le Max 2 has been heavily rumored lately, and the smaller Letv-branded devices have leaked as well (Le 2 and Le 2 Pro, presumably). Letv has actually re-posted the leaked images from the other day, which seems to be the company's way to confirm that new devices are inbound. Well, if you take a look at the image above this article, you'll notice the newly leaked image. This seems to be a back side of the device which leaked the other day, at least judging by its size and materials.

As you can see, this phone will be made out of metal, and it will sport a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. This could be either the Letv Le 2 or Le 2 Pro, the phone seem to be too small to be a Le Max 2. We don't really have any spec info to share with you when it comes to this phone at this point, but we do have some leaked Le Max 2 specs though. According to previous leaks, the Le Max 2 will feature a 5.7-inch QHD panel, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. The device will reportedly going to be fueled by the Snapdragon 820 SoC (which won't be available until Q1 2016), and will also pack in a 21-megapixel camera on its back. The device will probably come with Android Lollipop pre-installed, though Marshmallow is also an option, it all depends on when Letv plans to release this phone(s). That's pretty much it, Letv is holding the event tomorrow, stay tuned.
