Huawei has already announced quite a few devices this year, including a number of compelling high-end offerings. Well, this China-based smartphone OEM seems to have opted to release yet another really compelling mid-ranger to the market as well, the Glory Play 5X. This handset has been surfacing for a while now, and the device is now actually available for pre-order. As a side note, Huawei has recently actually announced the very affordable Enjoy 5 smartphone, as well as their Mate S, Honor 7 and Honor 7i devices. That being said, let's talk more about the Glory Play 5X, shall we.

This handset actually comes in two variants, 2 and 3GB ones. The more affordable model will ship with 16GB of storage on the inside, while the more expensive one will come with 32GB of storage. Both of these variants support microSD expansion, you'll be able to add the additional 128GB of storage if you opt to do so. The Glory Play 5X is fueled by the Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core SoC which you can find in the LG G4, Xiaomi Mi 4i, and a number more devices out in the market at the moment. This SoC is clocked at 1.8GHz and ships with an Adreno 418 GPU for graphics. The 13-megapixel OIS shooter (f/2.0 aperture) is available on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel snapper can be found up front. The 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on Huawei's latest offering. The 4G LTE connectivity is also available here, of course.

The Glory Play 5X is actually made out of metal, which is something we've accustomed to see from Huawei. This smartphone is available in Sunset Gold, Silver Dawn and Dark Gray color options, and is actually already available for pre-order from TMall, a Chinese online retailer, and VMall, Huawei's official online store. The Glory Play 5X might not be the highest-end device you've ever seen, but its specifications are actually really good, especially if you compare it to its predecessor. Anyhow, the 16GB variant of this phone is priced at $157, while the 32GB model comes around to $220. Huawei will release this smartphone officially on November 3rd.
