Featured: Top 10 Android News Stories October 18th

With HTC's special event coming up this week and another event from Verizon and Motorola the week after, we're bound to see a few more new devices this year. Lots has happened this past week too though that is just as exciting, and if you happened to miss any of the details we'll be going over it here in this little recap. The Play Store has gone through more than a few changes over the years, and thanks to some teased screenshots from a Google employee it seems that it's about to go through another one in the near future. These weren't the only leaks to surface in the past 7 days though, as a few leaked images showed off details of the upcoming Motorola phones bound for Verizon's network, the DROID Turbo 2 and the DROID Maxx 2.

Details on the BlackBerry PRIV don't seem to be slowing down just yet as a new video showed up this past week as the official introduction video. We also started to see what appears to be a slow rollout of a new Play Music feature, where Google allows users to gift Play Music Unlimited subscriptions under a tag called Music Gifts in three varying options of 1, 3, and 6-month time frames. LG announced their first device to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow, stating the update would begin with the LG G4 and it started this past week for some devices in Poland, with other regions soon to follow.
