Elephone is a Chinese smartphone OEM who has been releasing really compelling devices this year. The company has turned focus to higher-end devices as of late, and has manufactured P7000 and P8000 devices. They've also announced that three P9000 models are on the way, and the Elephone Vowney will also going to be launched in the coming weeks. That not all though, the company isp planning to release their first Android Wear-powered smartwatch, dubbed ELE Watch, soon. That being said, we have some new info regarding the company's 'M' series of smartphones, read on.
We've talked about the Elephone M1 and M2 quite recently when every single spec detail surfaced, along with a bunch of images. Well, the company has now released two promotional videos for these two smartphones, and we also have some availability info to share with you. Both of these devices will be available starting this month, but we still don't have the exact pricing info. The two devices are expected to cost less than $150, especially the M1 which will be closer to a $100 price tag. If you take a look below this article, you'll notice two YouTube videos are embedded there, and you can check them out if you'd like to see these two devices up close and personal, and get to know their features.
Both of these devices will sport a 5.5-inch display, but their resolution won't be the same. The M1 will ship with a 720p panel, while the M2 will sport a 1080p display. The M1 will feature 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, while the M2 will ship with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. Both of these phones will sport a 13-megapixel snapper on the back, and will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The M1 will equip a 2-megapixel snapper up front, unlike M2, which will ship with a 5-megapixel shooter. Both of these devices will sport metal in their build, and the M2 will, unlike M1, feature a physical home button below the display. That's pretty much it, we'll report back if any additional info surfaces before Elephone rolls out these devices.
