Quick Charge 2.0 has become very popular over the last year or so. It’s a technology that Qualcomm baked into their Snapdragon 800-series (800, 801, 805, 808 and 810) processors that allows your phone to charge twice as fast. Given that the charger is certified for Quick Charge 2.0. In fact, it can charge the Moto X Pure Edition in under 2 hours, depending on how much juice is left when it’s plugged in. Now we also have car chargers that support Quick Charge 2.0, and right now Anker’s PowerDrive +1 is available with a Quick Charge 2.0 port, and it’s just $6. Sure, it’s normal price is $7, but that’s an extra dollar you can put towards getting a new smartphone next year, or something else.
Anker does not provide a micro USB cable with the charger however, so you will need to provide your own. Or you could pick up some extras here. Anker does provide a 18-month no-hassle warranty on this car charger as well. So if you ever have any issues, you can contact the company and get them straightened out pretty quickly.
