There are many special edition smartphones, usually they are created along with some known brands or designers, some of them include audio enhancements by a certain company and they are possibly distinguished by a few logos printed on their hardware, there are other phones with particular color combinations or with patterns and drawings engraved on their hardware. Some of them include the use of special materials on their construction to set them apart from the regular versions. Some movies get their special edition phones, Sony usually releases phones with some elements that make reference to James Bond and recently, Samsung partnered with Marvel and created a very unique Iron Man edition of the Galaxy S6 Edge. They went all the way with this particular phone, as the packaging was colored red and gold like the superhero and the phone itself was colored that way. It even included a wireless charger decorated as the superhero's Arc Reactor. You could see why some fans paid unprecedented amounts of money for this version. Now, they have partnered with Marvel once again to create the Ant-Man edition of the Galaxy S6 Edge+, although it is not as exciting.

This special edition was spotted on, and it is currently available to purchase in China for 5,888 yuan (the equivalent of approximately $926), but not much has changed from the regular version of the smartphone. The only thing in the box making a reference to Ant-Man is a protective case which is also illustrated on the box. It might include a few themes or some exclusive content preinstalled, but there's no way to know it from the image. The listing shows an inventory of 300 items, so it's quite limited, and although no different in specifications from the original model, it offers up a level of uniqueness for the super fan of this MARVEL hero.
