Lenovo Announces The Most Powerful VIBE Ever, The P1

Images of the new Vibe P1 have already leaked out, but today at IFA Lenovo made it official and announced their new and powerful VIBE P1.  It combines three desirable elements into its design - productivity with its massive 5000mAh battery, security with its built-in fingerprint scanner and a sleek looking package with its Gorilla Glass 3 display and its rounded aluminum back.  The powerful battery gives you up to 81 hours and combines Lenovo's innovative Rocket Charge function that cam give you up to 2.8 hours of talk time on only a 5-minute charge.  The user can also use the "OneKey Power Saver" by flipping one switch and increasing the battery life by two.

The new VIBE P1 is designed to always help keep you connected with its always-on lifestyle. Because of its built-in NFC wireless technology, the VIBE P1 can effortlessly pair with a number of smart devices such as headsets, cameras and TVs.  It also incorporates an embedded fingerprint scanner in the home button for both convenience and security.  And even though it has a massive 5,000 mAh battery - one of the largest in any smartphone - the VIBE P1 still looks like a premium device with its glass and metal construction and with its curved rear cover, it is still easy and comfortable to hold.

The new VIBE P1 sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.  The processor is a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core clocked at 1.5GHz, coupled to 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded 128GB via a microSD card.  We already mentioned that power is provided by a massive 5,000 mAh battery that incorporates Lenovo's Rocket Charge and their "OneKey Power saver."

The VIBE P1 uses a 13MP phase-detection autofocus and a dual-colored LED flash for its main shooter and a full 5MP sensor for its FFC for selfies and video chatting.  It comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS and NFC connectivity that will allow it to pair with other devices as well as make Mobile Payments.  It will be running the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and will come in Platinum and Graphite Grey.  It measures 152.9 x 75.6 x 4.6 - 9.9 mm and weighs in at 189 grams, which is not bad considering it is carrying around that massive non-removable battery. Pricing starts at $279 and it will not be available in North America.
