Hands-On With Digitsole, The Connected Insole

One of the big talking points at this year's IFA event is Bluetooth technology and connectivity. It seems, there is just about a Bluetooth product for everything, including your shoes. Digitsole, starting its journey on Kickstarter and was now one of the products being displayed at the show. In short, Digitsole is is a connected insole for your shoes. It may sound a little excessive but when you consider what it does, it is an interesting product. Digitsole has the ability to warm your feet on command. Not to mention, it also has the ability to track your daily events, distance walked and even calories burnt.

As you would expect with anything that is connected these days, Digitsole comes with its own Android app which is able to display all the tracked information and command the insole to warm your feet etc. Not forgetting, that as it are just an insole, one pair is enough to be used in all your shoes, so whichever shoes you wear that day, your feet are connected. For those interested, Digitsole begins shipping in the U.S. in October and Europe at a later date. In the meantime, you can check out what Digitsole looks like and how it works in the images below.
