Streaming is the new yet not so new way for most people to access all the kinds of media content we like to consume these days, whether it be music, movies, or tv. With options like the Chromecast, streaming content has become even more popular than before thanks to the low cost of picking up the device, but the Chromecast is hardly the only option. Roku, who has had their hand in streaming content for quite some time with their Roku boxes launched their own streaming stick device quite some time ago called the Roku 3500R, which is a great alternative to the Chromecast if you wanted something a little different. It plugs into the HDMI slots on your TV or monitor just like the Chromecast, but has the added benefit of an actual remote if you prefer this type of control.
On the remote you even have quick access to things like Netflix and Amazon Prime Videos thanks to the dedicated buttons. You can also cast stuff from your device to the TV, and Roku also has over 1,000 different entertainment channels for users to access so there's no shortage of stuff to watch. Not keen on the remote? You can also control the stick from your mobile device.
