Deal: MJ Technology Android Tablet with HDTV Tuner – $140

Tablets haven’t really offered anything unique, at least on the Android platform compared to our smartphones. Which is a big reason why they haven’t been selling so well. The other being the fact that our smartphones are just getting bigger and bigger. Here we have a tablet from MJ Technology which has a really interesting feature. It has an HDTV tuner. This means you can watch over-the-air HDTV television right there on your tablet. Without needing to download an app or pay for cable. Now many cable companies do give you the ability to watch TV through their app without a tuner, but this is completely free. In fact, you don’t even need WiFi.

MJ Technology says you’ll get around 4 to 6 hours of HDTV-tuned TV or get 8 hours of basic use with just one charge. You’ll also be able to watch HDTV anywhere there is signal. The most interesting and impressive part of this tablet is that it is still so light. It is running Android 4.1, so definitely not the latest version of Android, and we’re not sure it’ll ever get updated past Android 4.1. It also includes a microphone port, headphone jack, micro USB and a microSD card slot.

While most tablets are coming around $300 or more, this one hits the spot at $140, which is pretty amazing. And you can pick it up from the Android Headlines Deals Store today.
