Clove Throws in Freebies with Xperia Z5 & Z5 Compact

The UK retailer Clove now has the corrected and has a much more attractive Sony Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact pricing on their website.  It seems when the new Sony devices were first listed they had the incorrect prices - the real pricing for the Sony Xperia Z5 is £549 and £429 for the Xperia Z5 Compact, which are now in line with other retailers.  To make your purchase with Clove even more attractive, they will be bundling an accessory with each purchase.  If you purchase the Xperia Z5, Clove will include a free Sony BSP10 Bluetooth Speaker, a £79.99 value and if you decide to purchase the Xperia Z5 Compact, Clove will throw-in a pair of Sony SBH60 Bluetooth headphones, a £59.99 value.  The Sony Blog is not sure whether these offers will be duplicated at other retailers, but as announcements roll out, we will soon find out...a great deal for the UK buyers.  Please keep in mind that the new Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact will not be available until early October.

The new Sony Xperia Z5 lineup was announced during IFA 2015 in Berlin and it sounds like a they are exactly what Sony needs to increase their sales and hopefully the rest of the world outside the UK will get a shot at purchasing the Xperia Z5s.  It sports a 5.2-inch Full HD LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.  The 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor and an Adreno 340 GPU will power the Z5.  It will pack 3GB of RAM with either 16GB or 32GB of internal memory with room to expand via a microSD card slot.  The camera uses a 23MP Exmor RS sensor with an f/2.0 aperture 24mm 'G' series lens capable of 4K recording.  The front-facing camera (FFC) is a 5MP Exmor sensor wide-angle lens for selfies and video chatting.  There are two front-facing stereo speakers, enhanced sound and a 2900mAh battery supplies power.  It is, of course, IP65 and IP68 dust and water-resistant.

The biggest difference between the Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact is the 4.6-inch 720p display and the smaller 2700mAh battery.  The Z5 Compact also reduces the RAM down to 2GB, but shares its big brothers other attributes.
