AW-Powered ELE Watch Will Be Available In 3 Color Options

We've seen tons of smartwatches launched this year all over the world, and a number of those smartwatches are powered by Google's Android Wear platform. The Android Wear OS is becoming increasingly popular in the smartwatch space, so we can basically expect more Android Wear-powered devices in the coming months. Companies like Motorola, Huawei and Asus have released their smartwatch offerings this year, and it seems like we might see more interesting watches before this year comes to an end.

I don't know if you recall, but we've talked about the ELE Watch a couple of times already, Elephone's upcoming Android Wear-powered smartwatch. We already know partial specs of this watch, and thanks to a recent report, we also know how the watch will look like. That being said, we didn't know which color options will be available up to this point, but our source at the company has just confirmed that we'll see this watch launched in not only Silver, but Black and Gold colors as well. We still don't have images of Black and Gold models, but we'll report back as soon as we manage to get our hands on them.

The ELE Watch will feature a 1.5-inch 320 x 320 display, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of native storage. The watch will also be water and dust resistant thanks to the IP67 certification. Unfortunately, we still don't know which processor will fuel this smartwatch, but it will probably be the Snapdragon or MediaTek SoC. The watch will sport a circular display, and will charge via the pogo pins which are visible on the watch's back, which suggests it will ship with a cradle of some sort. Based on the images we've shared about a week ago, the watch will also sport a heart-rate sensor as well.

That's pretty much it as far as available info goes. The Elephone ELE Watch seems like a really sleek piece of hardware, and it will be interesting to see how much will it cost. Elephone tends to sell really affordable smartphones, so we can expect this smartwatch to be quite affordable as well. Keep in mind that the watch will be available for purchase all over the world considering the fact this company sells their products via a number of Chinese resellers.
