The Walking Dead: Road To Survival Lurches Onto Google Play

If you're extremely into The Walking Dead, mobile game publishing company Scopely has just launched The Walking Dead: Road To Survival on the Android platform and the game is now available in the Play Store. The gameplay style will be role playing so you can expect some heavy storytelling to take place with loads and loads of player driven narrative and outcomes. These types of games can often make you feel like you have some hand in the actual creation of the game since you can slightly alter the way things turn out. You could end up having to make some hard decisions.

The game was created with help from The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman who is said to have worked closely with the development team to make sure that Road To Survival stays true to the origins of the actual series. This should delight gamers who are also loyal The Walking Dead fans. Throughout the game, making difficult choices won't be the only challenge you come up against. You'll also need to work on finding resources and fortifying your places of refuge to withstand the zombie horde. You'll also have to spend some time searching for survivors which just might cause some rather interesting events to unfold. You'll also encounter memorable characters that are well-known from the original The Walking Dead graphic novels which is what this game is based on.

For those that enjoy playing games which add a social element to them, The Walking Dead: Road To Survival mixes in things like social chat with other players so you can talk and form strategies or just casually discuss the game, as well as PvP combat with other players if you're looking to expand the game beyond the single player aspect. You can also align yourself with other players to form strong groups and participate in tournaments which could end up rewarding you with resources in addition to gaining yourself some bragging rights. The game takes on a graphic novel style of visuals for some lush eye candy, which is always a nice touch. The game is free and is currently available for download.
