LG have released a ton of smartphones of late and it seems they are not quite finished yet for this year. Last week, the company unveiled one of their newest devices, which was interestingly a flip phone and going by the LG Gentle title. However, this was a South Korean only device and was presumed not to be making its way to other markets. Well, LG have today announced the International version of the LG Gentle which is being dubbed the LG Wine Smart

In terms of the specs, the LG Wine Smart comes sporting a 3.2-inch display with a 480 x 320 resolution. Inside, the LG Wine Smart comes sporting 1GB RAM and is powered by a Quad-core processor (clocking at 1.1 GHz). In terms of memory, the LG Wine Smart comes with 4GB internal storage as standard, along with a microSD card slot for additional expansion when needed. Moving to the cameras, and continuing the budget theme, the LG Wine Smart comes equipped with a 3-megapixel rear camera, which is coupled with a VGA front facing camera. Additional features on offer include 3G, HSPA/4G LTE and the device comes powered by a 1,700 mAh battery (which is removable). Not to mention, the LG Wine Smart comes running on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) out of the box. Lastly, in terms of the more physical aspects, the LG Wine measures 117.7 x 58.7 x 16.6mm and weighs 143g.

According to LG Mobile's Vice President and Head of Marketing Communications, Chris Yie, the LG Wine Smart was designed to offer those that love the flip (clamshell) form factor, a device design they would want "Consumers shouldn't have to miss out on the smartphone revolution because they prefer a particular phone design over another. With LG Wine Smart, they won't have to." In terms of availability, LG have confirmed that the LG Wine Smart will make its debut across International regions later this month. Countries specifically noted to be seeing the LG Wine Smart include France, Italy, Poland, Spain, Kazakhstan, Japan and the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, there were no details on whether the LG Wine Smart will reach North America. Likewise, there were no firm details on pricing given during the announcement. Although, LG did confirm the Wine Smart will be available in both a Burgundy and Navy color option.
