HTC's Desire 626 Now Available For $192 Through Verizon

Mid-way through July, HTC announced a number of new devices which were joining the company's Desire range. The devices were announced as the HTC Desire 626, Desire 626s, Desire 526, and Desire 520 and looked to be somewhat more affordable options and falling firmly in the mid-range category. At the time, HTC announced these new devices would be hitting the U.S. soon and would be available through a number of carriers in the near future. By mid-August at least one carrier, Verizon, had confirmed they would be stocking the Desire 526 and 626 and true to their word, Verizon has now made available one of the devices to buy, the HTC Desire 626.

Verizon has today opened up sales for the Desire 626 and if you are interested in picking up the the device outright, then the cost for just the Desire 626 is set at $192. If you would prefer to pick up the Desire 626 on a payment plan option, then it can be picked up a two-year term for only $8 per month. Alternatively, if you need a reminder on what is on offer, then in spite of both the 526 and 626 being mid-range devices, this is the slightly more powerful option. The Desire 626 comes sporting a 5-inch display which comes with a 960 x 720 resolution. Inside, the Desire 626 is equipped with 1.5GB RAM and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor (clocking at 1.1 GHz). In terms of storage, the 626 comes equipped with 16GB as standard, but also offers the ability to expand thanks to the included microSD card slot. Moving to the cameras and the 626 comes touting an 8-megapixel camera on the rear, which is coupled with a 2-megapixel front facing option. Additional features on offer include a 2,000 mAh battery and 4G LTE support, which as you would expect, includes Verizon's 4G LTE coverage. Last up, the Desire 626 is said to come running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) out of the box. This is of course, with HTC's Sense 7 UI over the top. To find out more or order a HTC Desire 626 then hit the source link down below.
