Featured: Top New Android Apps Of The Week - August 16th

As always it can be easy to overlook some of the new apps which get released onto the Play Store with an ever growing list of applications coming in. It's also challenging sometimes to sift out the new from the old which have simply been updated, so we've rounded up a list of some of the best new apps this week which you might find useful or fun.

Ninja Jamm

This is a music and audio application, aimed at letting users create their own music using sample sets of audio tracks and other various sound effects. Once you've created something you're proud of, you can share it via social media and upload it to places like SoundCloud and Facebook.

There's nothing here to help you be more productive or manage your time better, but it can be a great bit of fun if you're looking to add some awesome, unique, and perhaps sometimes weird and creepy looking effects to your pictures.

MSTY is a mix of messaging and music sharing. It's a messaging app at it's core, but splices in the ability to share tracks of some of the most popular songs with anyone you wish. You simply pick a song from different categories, add your message, and then send it to one of your contacts. It's a unique take on a social platform that might just suit you.

If you need to simplify your communication, Drupe aims to offer this by placing a set of dots on your display that allows you to access your most used contacts and "drupe" them (basically drop them) into any one of the various communication apps it supports like Facebook's Messenger, Whatsapp, email, or even location and calendar apps. Instead of scrolling to find the app you want then open and find the person you're trying to contact, Drupe groups up your favorites and makes it easy to contact them.
