Going to and fro in the car often times means you're streaming music to your head unit, slowly draining the battery throughout the day.  Sometimes after a long day at work, or maybe just a particularly boring one where you've been on your phone constantly throughout the day, you need a quick pick-me-up to keep you going throughout the rest of the day.  No, we're not talking about a $5 latte from your nearest trendy coffee bar, we're talking a little $16 car charger from Choetech that's Qualcomm QuickCharge 2.0 enabled.  With this handy dandy charger and a little support from your phone for the Qualcomm QuickCharge 2.0 standard you'll be jumping your battery up a whopping 60% in just half an hour, the length of time of the average daily commute here in the United States.

Half an hour seems to be the magic number for measuring just how effective a charger is, and that's likely due to the fact that people often have half an hour increments of time to use for things like charging.  Staying still in one place, particularly when it's attached to a wall, isn't a particularly convenient solution when it comes to needing your phone charged quickly.  Plugging it into your car's antiquated cigarette lighter, however, is a great way to charge your phone while on the go and Choetech's latest does it with style.  Featuring an all-white body and a well marked blue QuickCharge 2.0 port, this charger works exactly as advertised.  Using the QuickCharge 2.0 port or the auto detect port on non-QuickCharge 2.0 compatible devices will still charge your device plenty fast too.  For instance in the same half an hour my OnePlus One, which isn't QuickCharge capable, charged the battery about 35%; still enough to get me through the rest of the day.

The design and build is small and light enough to keep it from getting in the way, and the included USB-microUSB cable provides enough voltage to get you going without having to look for another cable somewhere to get the job done.  There's nothing to complain about here, especially, not the price and the value added thanks to the 35W output really makes you wonder why we didn't have this kind of fast charging in the past.  Look for it on Amazon for $15.99 and don't forget to check out some of Choetech's other products that we've reviewed too, like the reversible wall charger.
