Back to School Intel Android Tablets - 2015 Guide

Chances are, you are probably already back at school. Or at the very least about to be. Either way, you are probably thinking about picking up a new computer for the year ahead. In fact, in a recent study, computers topped the list of "must-have" back to school products. While laptops and netbooks will provide you with all the power you need to get your work done (and the occasional social media checking too), tablets are far more portable and usable. If you are looking for a new tablet then you might want to check out the Dell Venue 8 7000 or the ASUS ZenPad 10. Both are great options, but also individually offer some neat features too.

If you are after a smaller tablet then you will want to take a look at the Dell Venue 8 7000. This is a great little tablet and comes packing some decent specs, making it an ideal solution to take with you to school without weighing your bag down. If you need to know how portable it is, then the Venue 8 7000 weighs 305 grams and measures 215.9 x 214.2 x 6.1 mm. In terms of the specs, the Dell Venue 8 7000 comes equipped with an 8.4-inch OLED display with a 2560 x 1600 resolution. Although tablets are not ideal for taking images, if you do need to take some quick snaps while working, the Venue 8 7000 is equipped with Intel's RealSense Snapshot Depth Camera technology. This means, you have two 8-megapixel cameras to take a much deeper image when used. On the front, there is also a 2-megapixel camera for those quick taking selfies.

If you are in the market for something a little bigger, then check out the ASUS ZenPad 10. As the name suggests, this one comes sporting a larger 10.1-inch display (1200 x 800 resolution) and will give you more room to work and chat with. In terms of the rest of the specs, the ASUS ZenPad 10 comes equipped with 2GB RAM and powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom (x3-C3200) Quad-Core processor. In terms of cameras, there is a 5-megapixel rear cameras which is coupled with a 2-megapixel front facing option. Due to the size, this one is a little bigger and heavier measuring 251.6 x 172 x 7.9 mm and weighing 510 grams. However, this one does come running on Android 5.0 (Lollipop)
