Wind Mobile Now Offering The LG G Stylo

The new LG G Stylo is already available on other Canadian carriers, but today, WIND Mobile announced the mid-range device is now available on their network.  The device will cost you $349 outright, $199 on WINDtab, $99 with a $5 per month WINDtab Boost plan or $0 with a $15 per month WINDtab Boost plan.  WIND Mobile customers should be happy to see this great mid-range device as an option - many of the higher priced LG devices can be found on the G Stylo in the design and style department as well as some not found, such as the Stylus Pen.

The LG G Stylo is designed much like the LG G4 and is unmistakably an LG device - complete with the buttons on the back of the device.  It features a 5.7-inch IPS HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, giving it approximately 258 pixels-per-inch.  In our comprehensive review of the G Stylo, we were quite pleased with the colors it produced and the overall look, considering the display is competing with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in size.  It is running the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core clocked at 1.2GHz and is coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of RAM with the ability to expand that via a microSD card slot.

LG even gave the G Stylo an excellent camera area - 13MP with their quick Laser Autofocus and LED flash and a full 5MP front-facing camera for selfies or video chatting.  It is certainly not as fast as the LG G4's camera...taking a full 5 seconds to open the app and the Laser Autofocus seemed a bit slow...but for the price range, it is hard to beat.

Another feature in this price range that is unheard of is the inclusion of a Stylus Pen, and in our review it performed very well.  Certainly not as functional as the Galaxy Note's S-Pen, but for the price it is a great addition.  LG also included a large removable 3000mAh battery to easily get you through the day.  It also offers the usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, an FM Radio and a microUSB port for charging the battery and for data transfer.  The LG G Stylo measures in at 154.4 x 79.3 x 9.4mm and weighs in at 165.9 grams.  It comes running Android 5.0.2 and comes in Metallic Silver.
