iSkysoft Toolbox for Android is a piece of software for your PC which helps you recover data from your Android device should you have accidentally deleted it or lost it during an unplanned wipe or factory reset. There are numerous reasons for which a user might have lost their data, but iSkysoft can help to ensure that the data doesn't have to stay lost forever. It's simple, easy to use interface walks users right through the entire process so things don't have to be left to chance. iSkysoft Toolbox for Android offers both a free trial version as well as a full version license, so let's check out how it can help save data that might be important.

First things first, you'll need to download the software to your PC. Since this is a computer based program, it isn't something which you can pick up from the Play Store. You'll want to head to the main product page to download and install the free software or purchase the full version for Windows, you can also find more details about the software as well as other stuff iSkysoft offers from their main home page.

Using the iSkysoft Toolbox for Android software is really quite simple and only takes a few minutes to set up. Once the software is installed on your PC, you can set it up to open up automatically following the installation process, or you can open it up at your convenience whenever you may need it.

Once open, all you have to do is connect your device via the USB cable for your phone or tablet then follow the on-screen prompts. iSkysoft has built the software to be extremely easy to use so there shouldn't be any worry about whether you're missing any steps.

iSkysoft Toolbox for Android software supports a wide variety of devices totaling more than 6,000 different devices including both Android smartphones and tablets, so no matter which device you have the software should work without issue.

It also gives you a fair amount of control over what you want recovered, and you can check or uncheck what you want included ranging from SMS, to contacts, to Whatsapp message, pictures, videos, documents, audio, and even Whatsapp attachments.

The whole process of scanning the data you want to recover was fairly quick and only took about 10 minutes, and once it's done you can preview each directory you had the software scan to overview things before you finish and hit the "recover" button.

Once the scan is finished you can choose to recover everything, or uncheck the boxes you don't need to recover and only retrieve a selective portion of your data. When previewing, you can also click a button to view only the deleted files which were found. After you have everything selected you want back, simply hit the recover button and iSkysoft will immediately recover it for you.

Overall, iSkysoft Toolbox for Android is a really useful tool for anyone who has need to recover lost data for any reason. The step by step guide was helpful in making sure I always knew what to do next until the process was completed all the way through. It was pretty quick taking little time to scan my phone, and being able to basically handpick which pieces of data I wanted to recover was a nice feature to have. The preview was also a nice touch as it let me view everything before I hit recover, so I could be absolutely sure that I needed all the lost data which was found. Although it's something I would hope to not have to use often, it's definitely a tool I would want to keep on hand just in case the situation came up where I needed to recover something important.
