Moto G (2015) Now Available On Amazon For $179.99

Today was a big day if you are a Motorola fan as the company unveiled a number of new devices. Technically, there were only two new devices, the third generation Moto G and the third generation Moto X. However, each device has come with more than one variant. In terms of the Moto X, the variants on offer include the more budget-ranged edition in the form of the Moto X Play while the international version of the Moto X is coming as the Moto X Style and the U.S. edition is coming as the Moto X Pure Edition. Things are a little more straightforward when it comes to the Moto G as there are two variants on offer and only differ in their RAM and storage.

In term of the specs, the Moto G (3rd Gen) comes equipped with a 5-inch display with a 1280 x 720 resolution. Inside, the two variants are available in either a 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage combo or a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage combo. Both come equipped with a microSD card slot to offer expansion if needed. The processor inside is the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, along with an Adreno 306 for graphics. In terms of cameras, the Moto G comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera which is coupled with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Everything is powered by a 2,470 mAh battery and the device comes running on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) out of the box. Other features worth mentioning, include 4G LTE support as well as a water resistant IPX7 certification.

Of course, one of the real big selling points for the Moto G is the price and this was confirmed this morning as starting from $179.99. It was also confirmed that the Moto G would begin selling today through Motorola, Amazon and Best Buy. Well, it now does look like the Moto G is available through Amazon and is listed as able to ship. As such, if you were planning on getting your hands on the Moto G as soon as possible, then this is likely to be your best and quickest option.
