LG Continues to Promote its Camera with #BestShotEver Contest

LG has really been marketing the camera on their newer flagship, the LG G4. They've really made the camera the biggest feature of the LG G2 and G3 in the past, and the G4 is even better, somehow. LG is continuing to promote the camera on the G4 with their #BestShotEver contest, where the grand prize is an all-expense paid trip to New York City, with a helicopter tour around the city, and a few LG G4's. Not a bad prize, right? All you have to do is take "the best picture of your life" and post it to Instagram and tag @LGUSAMOBILE as well as using the hashtag #BestShotEver, and if the photo makes it past the judges, you could win that grand prize.

The contest is running now through the end of July. LG says that the final judging will happen around the middle of August. Instead of offering just one prize, which is the trip to NYC, LG is also offering 24 first place prizes. And those 24 winners will also receive a brand new LG G4 for entering the contest. Still not a bad prize, right? The judging is in six different categories. You can check out the official rules on LG's site, which is linked in the sources down below.

To win this contest, you won't be able to just take any old picture, considering how many are looking to enter this contest. If you search #BestShotEver on Instagram, you'll see exactly what I mean. There's some pretty stiff competition out there.

So far, the LG G4 has been one of our favorite devices of 2015. For a couple of reasons, the biggest being the camera that LG has gone with on the back, that does f/1.8 aperture, which is pretty insane for a smartphone camera. But there's also the leather back. At first many thought that the stitching down the center looked awful, but it actually looks and feels pretty nice in the hand. Which is important for any phone.

If you think you've got what it takes to enter this contest for LG, be sure to do so. Make sure you read the official contest rules from LG's website as well.
