LG G4 is the company’s new flagship which was announced back in April this year. The G4 is one of the best devices announced this year, and we’ll quite probably see this Korea-based company announce at least another high-end device before the end of the year. That being said, LG has also announced a couple of low-mid range offerings this year, like the LG G4 Stylo for example. Speaking of low and mid-range phones, this Korean tech giant has just announced yet another such device, the 2nd-gen LG L Bello device, read on.
The LG L Bello was announced back in September last year, and was part of LG’s entry-level lineup. The company has just announced an upgraded version of that device called the LG Bello II. This smartphone sports a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) display along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage. The phone is powered by an unnamed quad-core SoC running at 1.3GHz along with a Mali-400 MP2 GPU, and a removable 2,540mAh battery is also available here. This is a 3G handset which will come in both single SIM and dual-SIM variants. The 8-megapixel camera is located on the back of this handset (+LED flash), while there’s a 5-megapixel shooter available up front. Android 5.1.1 comes pre-installed on this smartphone with LG’s UX skin on top of it. The LG L Bello measures 140.8 x 71.6 x 9.6mm, while it weighs 155 grams. LG’s newest entry-level offering will be available in White, Titan and Gold variants.
“The LG Bello II brings unprecedented value to 3G markets, which still account for a significant 40 percent of smartphone markets. With its 5MP selfie camera, large display and familiar features, the LG Bello II is a great balance of form, function and price, which is why we expect to be even more successful than its predecessor,” said Juno Cho, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications. The LG Bello II will launch in Latin America and India this month, and Europe and CIS will follow soon after (during Q3 2015). The device sports a metallic edge, and sports an interesting pattern on the back cover which makes this device easy to hold (non-slippery). There you have it, this is LG’s 2nd-gen ‘Bello’ device.
