Huawei Reveals Honor Band Zero & Honor Whistle

Huawei took to their Twitter account in order to reveal their latest upcoming devices, a new wearable known as the Honor Band Zero along with a Bluetooth headset called the Honor Whistle. Since wearable's are becoming more and more popular in the recently past few years, it's nice to see new selections come to the market. Because the announcement came from Huawei's Twitter account, not a whole lot of information was released. With that said, we still have some juicy details about the devices and some speculation to go off on before the official announcement is made.

First up we have the Huawei Honor Band Zero. This is the new upcoming wearable smartwatch that comes with a metallic style bezel around the face. Going for a roundish look smartwatch, Huawei seemed to have taken a lot of care into making the device aesthetically pleasing. There will also be a bit of variety to the smartwatch as it will come in black, white and a beige color. Additionally, the Huawei Honor Band Zero will also come with an IP68 certification which ultimately means that the smartwatch will not be in any real danger with dust, water, and other substances. Hopefully with the IP68 certification you won't be missing any calls, notification alerts or lose the ability to keep track of the pedometer application.

Along with the Honor Band Zero, Huawei also took the opportunity to announce the Honor Whistle Bluetooth headset on Twitter. This earpiece also has the same style design as the Honor Band Zero with a metallic brush look and a main circular button. However, as I also mentioned above, the details are still pretty scarce between the Huawei Honor Band Zero smartwatch and the Honor Whistle Bluetooth headset.

We currently do not have any details on the pricing for either device nor do we know the operating system of the Honor Band Zero smartwatch. We could assume that it will likely run on the Google Android Wear operating system, but Huawei has kept tight-lipped on the matter. While the Honor Band Zero is slated to release within China sometime in August, it's still a mystery when or where the Honor Whistle Bluetooth headset will launch.
