Featured: Top New Android Apps Of The Week- July19th

There's no doubt that as smartphone users we love apps, and there are many out there to help enhance our lives and bring us entertainment. Just in case you missed of the more recent apps to launch on the Play Store, we've got them rounded up here for you to check out.

DogVacay

Think of DogVacay like an Airbnb for your dog. You may not always be able to take your dog with you on your trips, so DogVacay has come up with a solution to the problem and lets loving dog owners search for and find a place for their dogs to stay. The app matches dog owners with real people to watch over them while you're gone, letting you pick from a pool of over 20,000 5-star rated dog sitters.

Microsoft Hyperlapse Mobile

Hyperlapse Mobile is finally out of preview status and is available for anyone to download, letting users capture new videos or import existing ones which they can then speed up at variable rates to create a cool hyperlapse video. After the videos are completed users can also easily share them.

Red Bull Alert

Red Bull Alert is a cool new alarm clock app which lets users wake up motivated. It features varying themes of different sports to use as a backdrop with themed audio, motivating users to wake up and get out there to engage in their most loved sports, or just to get up and start the day. It can even track how long it takes you to get up.

Crossroad

Crossroad is a photography app, which lets users create shared photo albums called a "crossbook" so friends can all see and access the photos taken at special events. Crossbooks can be created during or after events and anyone invited to share the album can access the photos through the app or a web-based interface. Simple, yet fun for anyone who love to share pictures with friends and family.

Tiles Instagram Lockscreen

This one should be pretty self-explanatory. It basically takes your lockscreen and shows you images from your Instagram feed without having to unlock your device and scroll through the actual app. If you like Instagram then this is probably an app not to miss. You can like photos from the lock screen and apply a customized theme too just in case you like to personalize.

HBO NOW

HBO NOW has finally made it to android devices and is available in the Play Store for all. With this standalone app you can access all of HBO's current hit shows and past series without having a cable subscription and you can watch on any Android device. While Chromecast support isn't quite ready yet and will be arriving later this year, you can still cast your phone's screen to Chromecast, then start HBO NOW to stream the content to the big screen and everything works just fine albeit a little stuttery from time to time.
