CTL Announce The H4 Education Chromebook For $199

The Chromebook market is one which has been booming of late. The combining of performance with affordability is naturally a balance which has attracted a number of converts who would rather not shell out significantly more for a more traditional laptop or desktop option. One sector in particular, which has seen massive growth in Chromebook adoption is the education sector. Thanks to the affordability offered, both institutions and students alike see the balance in what Chrome OS running devices offers as an attractive one. Well, adding another option to the education Chromebook market is CTL. The company already have a number of options on the market which are designed for the education sector, like the recently released NL6 Chromebook. In terms of today's news, at the 2015 ISTE conference, CTL announced their latest Chromebook, the H4 Chromebook for education.

In terms of the specs, the H4 Chromebook comes equipped with an 11.6-inch HD widescreen LED-backlit display. Inside, the H4 comes loaded with 4GB RAM and powered by a Rockchip (RK3288) Quad-Core processor (clocking at 1.8GHz). While moving to storage, the H4 comes offering 16GB as standard, as well as the option to expand thanks to the inclusion of a microSD card slot. Additional features on offer, include Bluetooth 4.0, two USB ports, a HDMI port and built-in microphone and webcam. According to CTL, the battery on offer will mean the device can provide up to 10 hours of battery life off a single charge. While the H4 is also designed to be more rugged and is water resistant, as well as being able to withstand drops from a height of 70 cm.

Not to mention, CTL have also confirmed that purchases of the H4 Chromebook will be eligible for the free 100 GB Google Drive storage offered by Google. This means for the price, users can also make sure of 100 GB of Drive storage for two years from the date of purchase.
