We found a nice leak today with regards to the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus - pictures of cases for both devices with a comment about being available in September. MobileDirect sells accessories for all kinds of smartphones...and if you go to their website under Samsung cases, you will find the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus listed. When you click on the product names, up pops three pictures of each case - the usual side, back and inside views.
The cases are made by Cubz and are described as soft and flexible material that fits your device perfectly and for now, there is only white to choose from. Looking at the Galaxy Note 5 case, the main thing you notice is the cutout for the camera and flash - it is a wide rectangle, which would lead us to believe that the camera setup will be similar to the Galaxy S6 series with the flash and heart rate sensor off to the side of the lens. This falls in line with other leaked case for the Galaxy Note 5 we have seen. Generally, from Samsung we see a carryover of the previous Galaxy S series cameras, with maybe a small upgrade. While the Galaxy S6's camera is one of the top contenders, it would be nice if Samsung would up their game a little in the Galaxy Note 5's camera. It also looks like the speaker and headphone jacks are on the bottom of the device, as well as the MicroUSB port...and of course, the silo for the S-Pen. The power button remains on the right side and the volume rockers are on the left side.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is rumored to be a larger version of the current Galaxy S6 Edge model, so it comes as no surprise that the case shown here is simply a stretched out Galaxy S6 Edge case. The real changes are on the inside - it is rumored that the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor will replace the Exynos 7420 in the normal Galaxy S6 Edge.
