Xiaomi is constantly releasing various products out to the market. The company has released smart shoes yesterday, and today they've introduced the Mi TV 2S along with the Air Purifier. The company has recently expanded to Brazil, which is at the same time first country they're officially selling their smartphone(s) outside of Asia. That being said, Xiaomi is expected to announce at least four more handsets this year, the Redmi Note 2, Mi 5, Mi 5 Plus and a new version of Mi 4i. This Chinese smartphone OEM will quite probably announce more than three smartphones, but these three have been leaking like crazy over the last couple of weeks.

The Mi 5 and Mi 5 Plus were rumored to launch in November this year, but according to a new rumors, the Mi 5 might arrive sooner than expected. Xiaomi will reportedly announce something on August 5th, and according to the recent rumor, the company plans to announce a new variant of their Mi 4i smartphone. This device will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 808, while the rest of its hardware will remain relatively unchanged. Well, the newly leaked rumor claims that Xiaomi might announce the Mi 5 in August as well, perhaps even alongside the Mi 4i.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus is rumored to sport the Snapdragon 820 SoC, so there's no chance that handset will arrive before the end of the year. The Mi 5, however, is said to feature the Snapdragon 810 (v2.1) 64-bit octa-core SoC by Qualcomm, and it might launch sooner than expected. We've already seen some rumors saying that the device might arrive this August, and it remains to be seen how accurate that info is. The Mi 5 will reportedly also sport 3GB of RAM and a 5.3-inch QHD display. The device will almost certainly be made out of metal, and it will ship with Android Lollipop pre-installed with Xiaomi's MIUI OS placed on top of it.

Keep in mind that rumors are quite contradictory at this point, some rumors are actually claiming that the Mi 5 will also ship sporting the Snapdragon 820, not 810. All we can do at this point is wait, stay tuned.
