There's been some interesting developments in mobile games for Android this week, and if you've been keeping up on details from previous weeks or caught any of the announcements from E3, you may be familiar with a little bit of what's going on in regards to game titles to look forward to.
Nintendo Will Bring Pokemon Shuffle To Mobile
Earlier this year Nintendo announced their partnership with mobile games publisher DeNA Corp. and in so doing also announced they would be developing mobile games that feature characters from popular Nintendo video game franchises. While most of Nintendo's mobile games to be will be built from the ground up designed for mobile devices, it seems the first game to come to Android as well as iOS will be a popular match 3 type puzzle game called Pokemon Shuffle which is actually available for 3DS currently. There is no hard date for the mobile release yet, but it is coming so if you're interested keep an eye out for it. Runic Games Sheds More Light On Torchlight Mobile
Torchlight Mobile was a game announced for mobile devices back at E3, and is being developed by the same team behind the popular Torchlight dungeon crawlers from the PC, Runic Games. During the initial announcement actual details about the game were pretty scarce, but now Runic Games has shed some more light on players can expect when the game launches in the future. Torchlight Mobile will be a completely new game in the series, and will have a completely new story as well as new areas that are not available or part of the PC titles. Runic Games is also introducing exclusive races classes to the mobile title, and they have mentioned they will be including a new item augmentation system to enhance gear, and for those who like collecting pets, Torchlight Mobile will have a new pet collection system too. In terms of gameplay or modes, Torchlight Mobile will have both PvP based gameplay as well as other multiplayer gameplay in addition to single player action.
