T-Mobile Offering free LG G Pad F 8.0 for Father's Day

For those that didn't know, Father's Day is this Sunday. What better last minute gift idea than to pick up the LG G Pad F 8.0 for dad. At least that's what T-Mobile thinks. T-Mobile is doing a special which includes a free LG G Pad F 8.0 as long as you add a qualifying data plan for the tablet. The qualifying data plans are as low as $10 per month, as well.

The LG G Pad F 8.0 has a 8-inch HD display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor which is a quad-core chip clocked at 1.2GHz, it also has a 5MP camera and runs on Android 5.0. On the storage side there is 16GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot. The tablet also comes with a stylus, similar to the one the company offers with the LG G Stylo. As expected, T-Mobile says that there are a limited number of these tablets available for the promotion.

T-Mobile will be making your EIP payments for the LG G Pad F 8.0, and you'll see that credit on your bill each month for the next 24 months. T-Mobile will keep that credit on your bill as long as you keep at least a 1GB data plan on your account for that tablet. If you upgrade to a 5GB plan, you'll still get the credit. But if you downgrade to the free 200MB plan, you will lose the credit. So it's important to remember that. Which means you'll be responsible for the EIP. The full price of the LG G Pad F 8.0 is $239.76. So you can also pick it up at full price and get dad unlimited data with 200MB of high-speed data for free.

The LG G Pad F 8.0 may not be the most amazing tablet out there, or the most high-end. But it's a great tablet for most people. As it's enough to check your email, check Twitter or Facebook and play a few games. This is a great promotion from T-Mobile, so make sure you grab one before it's gone!
