This year saw Samsung releasing the latest in their line of Galaxy S range devices. Now, this is itself is nothing new, as the company typically releases their latest Galaxy S6 device in the first half of the year. However, after multiple reports emerging over the previous months detailing how poorly Samsung seemed to be performing in terms of sales, expectations had been understandably lowered. In fact, this was almost being seen as a sort of make or break type of launch for Samsung. As such, when the company finally did unveil the twin S6 devices in the form of the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge, the public jury did seem to very much fall on the Samsung 'making it' side of the make or break debate.
As a result, one might have thought that with such a storing device being outed by Samsung this year, their media and marketing department might have decided to avoid direct comparisons with Apple and their own high-selling device, the iPhone 6. And this did seem to be the case with Samsung releasing a ton of videos of late, detailing all the various benefits and features of their latest flagship devices.
Well, it looks like Samsung just cannot stay away from taking the odd wipe at Apple and have now released two new videos which directly mock the features on the iPhone 6. Or more specifically, the lack of features on Apple's latest offering. In doing so, the new videos focus on the edge display of the S6 Edge and its ability to be able to inform the user of incoming calls and provide detailed information on the edge display. Not to mention, the second video focuses on the camera and wireless charging features of the S6. Both of which are missing (or limited) on the iPhone 6. In fact, the takeaway line form both videos is rather interesting with Samsung adopting a '6 is greater than 6' (6 > 6) tagline. The videos are quite short in duration but certainly do make the point and are worth a quick watch. If you are interesting you can watch both of them by clicking play below.
