Android TV has seen significant growth of late with a number of new offerings available in terms of hardware, including a number of built-in options. That said, one of the most awaited Android TV devices of late, was the standalone NVIDIA SHIELD player. As well as a boost in performance in terms of specs (compared to what was already on the market), the SHIELD places a great emphasis on gaming. Offerings users the option to play the best android games on offer, as well as making use of their own NVIDIA GRID gaming tool and streaming a number of high-quality games directly to the player. Well, since NVIDIA launched the SHIELD, they have been making available a ton of games for the player. Now, to add to their ever-growing gaming compatibility, NVIDIA have this morning announced the availability of a few more titles. Those now on offer include Half-Life 2, Episode 2 which is now available on the Play Store and priced at $7.99. In addition, today sees the release of Q.U.B.E: Director's Cut which is priced at $9.99, Never Alone which is priced at 14.99 and Funk of Titans which will set you back $4.99.
For a lot of NVIDIA SHIELD owners, the big release in there will be of course, the second part to the Half-Life sequel, which sees an abundance of new weaponry and action to take part with. However, those interested in more of a puzzle-based game will probably one to check out Never Alone. This is the most expensive out of today's offerings but offers an interesting storyline which is based on a native Alaskan traditional story and will see you venturing across a variety of terrains. Q:U:B:E will fulfill all your brain-twisting cravings in this first-person puzzler while Funk of Titans sees Funk meeting ancient Greek Mythology.
