Meizu MX5 Paid A Visit To GFXBench, 3GB Of RAM In Tow

Meizu rumors are off the hook lately. We've seen plenty of Meizu leaks and rumors over the last couple of weeks, and the most leaked device is the upcoming Meizu MX5. This China-based company has already announced an event for June 30th, and judging by the teaser image they've posted, Meizu MX5 is almost certainly in the cards. This handset has already been certified in China, and has leaked on Geekbench rather recently. Well, the Meizu MX5 has now popped up on GFXBench as well, read on.

Meizu MX5's GFXBench listing once again confirms the specifications of this handset. The company's upcoming flagship will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (other storage options are very likely). MediaTek's MT6795T octa-core SoC will fuel this handset along with a PowerVR Rogue G6200 GPU, and Android 5.0.1 Lollipop will come pre-installed here with Meizu's Flyme UI installed on top of Google's OS. The 20-megapixel snapper will be available on the back of this handset, and same can be said about the LED flash which will most likely be located below the camera itself. The 5-megapixel shooter will be located on the front side of the Meizu MX5 in order to help you shoot some selfies or make a video call.

That's it as far as GFXBench listing goes, but we've managed to dig up more info via previous leaks, rumors and listing. The Meizu MX5 will be made out of metal, and will sport a physical home button below the display, which will most probably double as a fingerprint scanner (we're still not sure if that will be the case). The 3,150mAh battery has also been mentioned a number of times, and the device will measure 146 x 74.6 x 7.9mm, while it will weight 147 grams. The Meizu MX5 will also offer 4G LTE connectivity (both FDD-LTE and TD-LTE), and it will be interesting to see what else is Meizu planning to pack in here. Either way, the announcement will almost certainly take place on June 30th considering the company has already announced the event and indirectly confirmed the arrival of MX5.
