As many of you know by now, HTC has introduced quite a few high-end devices in the last couple of months, which is kind of uncharacteristic for this Taiwan-based smartphone OEM. The company has introduced their One M9 flagship during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) back in March, and One M9+, One E9+ and the new 'Butterfly' device followed. That being said, every listed device except for the One M9 was meant to be released in the Asian market only. HTC has even confirmed that One M9+ and One E9+ won't be available outside of Asia a while back.
Well, rumors started coming in recently stating that the company has changed their mind, and that they might make these two devices available in EU, specifically the One M9+ was mentioned though. It seems those rumors were spot on, at least according to a listing which appeared in Netherlands. A Dutch retailer site has listed the HTC One M9+ on their webpage, and according to the listing, the phone will be available in Netherlands on July 14 in Grey color. This handset won't be cheap, not at all, the phone will cost a whopping €760 (unlocked).
This listing doesn't confirm anything, but this device might become available in other markets next month as well, we'll see. Anyhow, the One M9+ sports a 5.2-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage. The device is powered by MediaTek's MT6795T octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and a 2,840mAh battery is also a part of this package. This device offers the DuoCamera setup on the back, 20-megapixel + 2.1-megapixel snappers, and a dual-LED, dual tone flash is also available here. The 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera is located on the front side of this device, and 4G LTE connectivity is also available here. Android 5.0.2 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this smartphone with HTC's Sense UI 7.0 installed on top of it. The One M9+ measures 151 x 72 x 9.6mm, while it weighs 168 grams.
It is also worth mentioning that the One M9+ is made out of metal, and that it sports a physical home button below the display, which also doubles as a fingerprint scanner. There you have it, the One M9+ will be available in Netherlands soon, and other markets might follow, who knows.
