Elephone S2 And S2 Plus Are Now Available For Pre-Order

Elephone is one of the many China-based smartphone manufacturers, though this company is trying to differentiate and make a name for themselves. Elephone has announced a couple of interesting devices lately, like the Elephone P7000 and P8000, and their upcoming 'Vowney' flagship(s) seems even more interesting. That being said, the company has also announced two compelling mid-rangers lately, the Elephone S2 and S2 Plus. We've already covered the announcement of these two devices recently, and it was said that they'll be available soon. Well, we have some new info now, read on.

The company has announced that the Elephone S2 and S2 Plus will be available for pre-order starting today. The Elephone S2 is currently priced at $159.99, while the S2 Plus will set you back $169.99 should you choose to pre-order it. In case you're interested, visit the source link down below. That  being said, let's take a look at the spec sheet of both of these devices. The Elephone S2 sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. This handset is powered by MediaTek's MT 6735 64-bit quad-core processor along with a Mali-T720 GPU. The 13-megapixel camera is located on its back, while a 2-megapixel snapper is available up front. This is a dual-SIM handset and offers 4G LTE connectivity (band 1/3/7/20). The 2,100mAh battery is also a part of this package, and the device measures 143 x 70 x 6.8mm.

The Elephone S2 Plus is the S2's big brother, this device sports a 5.5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) panel, and much like the S2, it offers two SIM card slots, 4G LTE connectivity, the same SoC, camera and the amount of internal storage. The S2 Plus measures 153 x 77 x 6.9, and like the S2, it comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop pre-installed .
