Doogee Nova Y100X Revealed, Will Cost Only $84.99

Doogee is really trying to appeal to customers. This China-based smartphone manufacturer is working on a number of new devices, a number of which are very interesting. Doogee Valencia2 Y100 Pro, Doogee X1, Doogee F3 and Doogee Nova Y100X are some of the devices we've talked about recently. The company is trying to differentiate as much as possible, and are planning to release / releasing devices which truly differentiate one from the other. The Doogee X1 will be a really affordable mid-range device which will sport no bzeel on the sides (no black bars either), and the Doogee F3, on the other hand, will be the company's new flagship.

That being said, we're here to talk about the Doogee Nova Y100X, a device which we've already mentioned recently. We knew that this thing will ship with a rear-facing volume rocker buttons and that its side bezels will be only 1mm thick, but we didn't exactly have much spec info, until now that is. The company has released a promo video for this handset, and we have managed to get our hands on some official images and specs of this handset. Anyhow, let's see what Doogee Nova Y100X has to offer.

This handset features a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) OGS 2.5D curved glass display along with Corning's Gorilla Glass protection on top of it, while the anti-fingerprint coating is also applied on top. MediaTek's MT6582 quad-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz will fuel this handset, and the phone will ship with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage on the inside. The 8-megapixel shooter will be located on the back of this handset, and you'll be able to find a 5-megapixel snapper up front. Both of these cameras will utilize OmniVision's sensors, we still don't know the exact sensor models at the moment though. Android 5.0 Lollipop will come pre-installed on this device, the phone will be 6.9mm thick and will weight 119 grams.

The best part of this device is its price, the device will cost only $84.99, and will be available for purchase all over the world via Chinese resellers. In case you're interested, check out the embedded promo video down below, and a number of Doogee Nova Y100X images available in the gallery.
