Case of the Day: Verus Thor for the LG G4

The LG G4 has been available for a short time now, after being announced back on April 28th. While it does come in leather, a lot of carriers are stocking the plastic-backed models more. Likely because they think they will sell more than the leather LG G4's. If you have a plastic-backed LG G4, you'll likely want to pick up a case for it, so that it'll stay looking nice and clean. In case you want to sell it later on.

There are a number of great cases out there right now. We're taking a look at one of Verus' most popular cases, the Thor case. We've actually reviewed this case on the HTC One M9 earlier this year. The case is designed for the LG G4, it's thin but can still protect your device, which is the most important thing. It will also protect for you display from getting scratched when or if you drop the LG G4. It has a nice snug fit, which means you may not be able to get it off. But that's a good thing, as it means it'll be protecting your phone you just paid $600 for. Verus also uses impact resistant dual layers for the Thor case. Which use high-grade TPU and polycarbonate. The TPU goes agains the LG G4 to keep it protected - as some cases do indeed scratch up the phone. The case is also curved which allows for a natural grip. That's important because it means you won't be dropping it. Very important, right?

Verus offers the Thor case in a variety of colors, including dark silver, military green, satin silver and shine gold. It's available on Amazon right now for just $14.99. Which is a pretty good price considering how much protection the Thor case is going to provide to your LG G4. You just spent a lot of money on that phone, so it's a good idea to protect it!
