Carphone Warehouse has Sony Xperia Z3+ In Stock

Today, the next generation of the Xperia Z line from Sony has launched at Carphone Warehouse. Last Friday, we wrote that pre-orders had begun and now it's generally available at Carphone Warehouse in the UK. The retailer also has the Xperia Z3+ in an exclusive color, Ice Green. Which looks more like silver, on their website, you'll probably want to go see it in person before making the decision to buy that color, though.

Prices for the new flagship start at £31.99 per month with an upfront fee of £59.99. However, as normal these days, Carphone Warehouse has a sweet deal for the Xperia Z3+. If you buy the Xperia Z3+ from the retailer, they will throw in a Hi-Res Audio package, which is said to be worth around £275. This includes Sony headphones, 90-days free music streaming on Tidal and six Hi-Res audio albums. If you're in need of some headphones - since most phones don't come with headphones these days - then this might be worth it.

We should be seeing the Xperia Z3+ popping up at more retailers across Europe over the coming weeks. So we'll be keeping an eye out for the device. Sony didn't change much in the Xperia Z3+, we have an upgraded processor in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, and that's really about it. Although we do have a smaller battery, around 2930mAh, instead of the 3100mAh battery that's in the Xperia Z3. One of the bigger features on the Xperia Z3+ or the Xperia Z4, actually has to do with the waterproofing. Normally we have flaps over the microUSB port to keep it waterproof. But with the Xperia Z3+, no more flaps. So you can just plug it in, without any issues. Which is actually a pretty big deal. Just ask anyone with an Xperia Z1, Z2, or Z3.

The Sony Xperia Z3+ may not be the biggest update over the Xperia Z3, but it is a great smartphone. Carphone Warehouse also has the device available in black and white. So you can choose between three colors in the UK at Carphone Warehouse.
