ZTE Launches Q519T Smartphone, Priced Under $100

It is only a couple of days back that Chinese smartphone giant ZTE launched a budget lower-end smartphone, ZTE Xiao Xian 2, one that features a fingerprint scanner, in spite of being priced low - around $144. While the company is aggressively pushing their high-end smartphone line - the Nubia Z series, they have also kept a watchful eye on the budget smartphone market and have come up with another new smartphone. This new smartphone is called the ZTE Q519T, and it's a mid-range handset. Although it is not clear if the handset will feature the same fingerprint scanner, it does promise a powerful battery with 35 days worth standby time. It has been priced around $95.

The new ZTE Q519T has a 5-inch HD IPS display offering 720 x 1280 pixels screen resolution, a 1 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6735 processor, Mali T720MP1 GPU, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage and external memory expandable up to 32 GB. The handset also features a 5-megapixel primary camera with sapphire lens and f/2.0 aperture, LED flash for clicking pictures in low-light conditions and a front-facing 2-megapixel shooter. It is a dual-SIM 4G LTE device that comes with a 4000 mAh battery. Despite the powerful battery, it comes with three power saving modes. It offers WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0 and USB v2.0 connectivity. The Q519T is currently only available in China and runs on Android Lollipop OS. The company officials are yet to confirm if the handset will be introduced in other corners of the world or has been specifically crafted for the Chinese population.

As mentioned earlier, ZTE recently launched its Nubia models - Nubia Z9, Nubia Z9 Mini and Nubia Z9 Max, all part of its growing high-end series. While the Nubia Z9 (base model) features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD screen, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB on-board storage, the Z9 Mini has a bit smaller 5-inch screen, 2 GB Ram and 16 GB internal memory. As the name implies, the Nubia Z9 Max has the largest display of the three - a 5.5-inch screen with 3 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory and an external micro-SD card slot for expanding the memory to 128 GB.
